The US categories are open to artistes that file for nominations. Refusal to file for nomination automatically bars any form of participation in the nomination process for any artiste.

The Ghana categories are open to artistes that that are captured by the Research Team to have met the set criteria for entering into the nominations. Artistes do not necessarily have to file for nominations before participating in the nomination process of the scheme.
